These terms govern your use of CaddiePro, a tournament management application operated by CaddiePro (Pty) Ltd (“CaddiePro”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, joining a team, or otherwise using CaddiePro, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
CaddiePro lets golf clubs, societies, and event organisers run multi-day, multi-course tournaments: scoring, live leaderboards, handicap audit, group/round management, and optional side games (nearest-the- pin, longest-drive, skins, and similar wagers). Access is organised around teams — a team is the organisation running its tournaments, with members holding one of these roles: organiser, marker, player, or spectator.
Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of the tournament data they set up — courses, tee ratings, rounds, groups, and any side-game configuration — and for managing who has access to their team. CaddiePro provides the tools; the organiser is responsible for how a specific tournament is run and scored.
CaddiePro includes optional calculators that help organisers run informal side games among players who agree to take part (for example, nearest-the-pin pots, skins, or Nassau bets) and shows a suggested settlement. CaddiePro is a scoring and calculation tool only — we do not hold, collect, or transfer any money between players. All wagers are arranged directly between participants, entirely at their own discretion and risk, and CaddiePro is not a party to them and accepts no liability for unpaid or disputed amounts. Organisers are responsible for ensuring any side games they configure are lawful in their jurisdiction.
You agree not to:
Handicap calculations in CaddiePro (course handicap, day-over-day adjustments, and the entry handicap cap) follow the rules an organiser configures for their tournament. CaddiePro is not an official handicapping authority, and results recorded here are not automatically submitted to any national handicap system. If you need an adjustment reflected in your official record, you remain responsible for submitting it to your union or federation.
CaddiePro caches scores on your device so you can keep scoring without signal, and submits them once you're back online. You're responsible for submitting pending scores promptly; we're not liable for data lost if a device is lost, reset, or has its browser storage cleared before a submission completes.
The CaddiePro name, logo, and software are owned by CaddiePro (Pty) Ltd. Your tournament data (scores, rosters, course details, and similar) belongs to you and your team; by using the service you grant us a licence to host and process that data solely to provide CaddiePro to you.
We aim to keep CaddiePro available and reliable, including during live rounds, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access and may need to take the service down for maintenance or updates from time to time.
CaddiePro is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes between players over side games, scoring errors arising from data an organiser or marker entered, or loss of connectivity. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees your team paid in the 12 months before the claim arose.
An organiser may close their team's account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful or abusive use.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated to organisers.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
